TREATMENTS

1. The idea that there is no treatment of COVID-19 is false.

In particular, treatments by GPs in outpatient settings could have a major impact on reducing hospital admissions.
Outpatient treatment strategies have demonstrated success, particularly where multidrug therapies have been utilised, typically involving antivirals (such as Hydroxychloroquine and Ivermectin) and antibiotics (such as Azithromycin and Doxycycline), combined with low-cost adjuncts such as vitamins (e.g. Vitamin C, D and Zinc).

A rural Texas practice recently reported nearly 98% of high-risk confirmed cases treated at home, with only 2% hospitalised and only a single death in 320 high-risk cases. For hospitalised patients, treatment protocols such as the ‘MATH+’ protocol from the FLCCC group of US intensivists, appear almost unknown in the UK, even though their survival rates for severely ill patients are superior to those elsewhere.

Hydroxychloroquine has been shown to be beneficial in low doses early in the infection, but was subject to ‘bad’ press following a fraudulent (now withdrawn) paper in the Lancet and the ill-designed Oxford Recovery Trial which used very high doses in late-stage illness.

2. Trial evidence non-vaccine treatments work.

There is now trial evidence demonstrating an 89% reduction in the risk of Covid-19 when Ivermectin is used as a prophylaxis and a 79% risk reduction for symptoms, hospitalisation or death when used as an early treatment.

A systematic review and Meta-analysis by Dr Tess Lawrie and colleagues at the Evidence-based Medicine Consultancy has been endorsed in a meeting of international experts and clinical experience using Ivermectin for prolonged symptoms (Long Covid) is encouraging.

It is also worth noting that the COVID-19 vaccines are currently under emergency use authorisation due to no effective treatments being available. This may not have been the case had any of the treatments above been acknowledged and thoroughly researched earlier. A cynic may state that such treatments could have affected the profits of the vaccination manufacturers, an unfair statement – you decide!
