I am responding to your request for information under the Freedom of Information Act. The answers to your specific questions are as follows:
I am looking to find out the total number of Covid 19 deaths in East Sussex. By this I mean;
‘deaths occured from the virus known as SARS Covid-19 only’.
I am looking for data between the 1st of March and November the 30th 2020.
If possible, please can you also provide a breakdown of the age ranges these deaths occurred in.
East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust does not hold the total number of Covid-19 deaths in all settings in the County.
However, this data is publically available from the Office for National Statistics via the following links:
