In a video, an unvaccinated doctor challenges the health secretary over the government’s plans to make NHS staff have a Covid jab or risk losing their job. In less than two days, the video has been viewed more than a million times.
Making vaccination a condition of employment for NHS workers already applies to care-home staff and will expand to cover most NHS workers on 1 April.
Dr Steve James is a qualified NHS intensive care consultant who is critical of the COVID vaccine. He expresses, “The science isn’t strong enough” to support the vaccine policy.
“The vaccines are reducing transmission only for about eight weeks with Delta. For Omicron, it’s probably less. I won’t be taking COVID vaccine.” He said
