Thank you for your request for information.
Your Request
Please can you supply SARS-CoV-2 deaths of patients with other underlying illnesses. Also SARS-COV-2 deaths of patients with no other health issues. From 20 March 2020 until 31st December 2020.
Also age ranges for both death categories.
Our Response
The Trust reported 514 inpatient deaths where the diagnosis of Covid -19 was recorded from 1st March 2020 to the 31st December 2020.
512 of these patients had other underlying illnesses recorded and 2 of these patients had no other health issues recorded as a diagnosis.
Age ranges for these patients were as follows:
40 – 60 years 30
61 – 70 years 50
71 – 80 years 166
81 – 90 years 208
91 years and over 60
