In the BBC article is says ‘Next said it was an “emotive topic” but that it had to balance staff and shareholder needs’. In other words, shareholder profit before staff needs!
This is not about pro or anti vaccine, this is about hypocrisy. Below is an excerpt from Next’s Corporate Social Responsibility report on page 11. How is this not wage retention, discrimination & unauthorised deductions from workers’ pay?
The message from leaders of big business – Let’s all make this up as we go along and hope nobody puts in a discrimination case.
